Vision

To be an  excellent department in educating and training students to become professional Food Technologist who is technically capable of working in Food Nutrition, Food Processing, Food Quality and Safety and Food Operation sectors.

 

Mission 

  • To produce competent food technologist with sound knowledge of hygienic food processing, preservation, food standards and regulations, packaging and storage in order to reduce the food losses.
  • To impart knowledge through research and education and to groom them as professionals to meet the ever increasing demand of the society.
  • To provide students with leadership quality and also to handle all the problems relating food industry.
